Long time member and audience favorite Frank Backlund passed away Wednesday September 14, 2022 at the age of 96.
Frank joined the Concord Singers in 1971 and quickly became a fan favorite. He became a local celebrity with his rendition of Ja Mir San Mit’m Radl Da.
Fans would commonly refer to Frank as the Reverend or Preacher Man when he would perform the audience favorite Cigarette’s and Whiskey and Wild Wild Women.
He may be gone but not forgotten and his music lives on. Here’s to you Frank as we play Ja Mir San Mit’m Radl Da or here we are on our bicycles.
